What happens to your information

Last updated September 2026

Mule AI is a one-person software company in Knoxville, Tennessee. This page describes exactly what happens to your information when you use this website — written from the code that runs it, not from a template.

The short version: we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Beyond that we store nothing about you. Two things you can choose to do — talking to the assistant, and booking a call — send information to services we rely on. All three are described below.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It tells us how many people came, roughly where in the world from, what they looked at and how they found us. We use it to work out which parts of this site are worth keeping.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise a repeat visit. It does not tell us who you are: we see numbers and patterns, not names. Google processes that data under its own terms as our provider.

If you would rather not be counted, any browser-level tracking blocker or Google's own opt-out add-on will stop it, and nothing on this site will work any differently.

What we do not collect

Beyond the analytics cookies described above, this site sets no cookies and uses no browser storage. It runs no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no other third-party scripts.

We do not have a database. Nothing you type here is written to one, because there is not one to write to.

We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone for marketing.

The chat assistant

The assistant on this site is powered by Anthropic's Claude. When you send a message, that message and the conversation so far are transmitted to Anthropic so a reply can be generated, then streamed back to your browser.

The conversation is not saved on our side. It exists in your browser for as long as the widget is open and is gone when you close or reload the page. We keep no transcript.

Anthropic processes that text under its own terms and retention practices, as our service provider. Please do not paste passwords, financial details, health information or anything else sensitive into the chat — it is a sales assistant, not a secure channel.

Booking a call

If you ask the assistant to book a discovery call, it will ask for your name, your email address and a rough time that suits you. Those three things are used to create a calendar event.

The event is created on Mule AI's Google Calendar with you as an invited attendee, which means Google sends a calendar invitation to the email address you gave, and a Google Meet link is generated for the call. Your name and email appear on that event.

From that point the booking lives in Mule AI's Google Calendar and in your own email and calendar. Google processes it as our service provider. We use it to hold and attend the meeting, and to follow up with you about it.

How long we keep things

Chat conversations: not retained by us at all.

Bookings: the calendar event and any email exchange that follows are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the enquiry and our business records, and deleted when they are no longer needed.

Your choices

You can use every page of this site without giving us anything. The chat is optional and the booking flow only starts if you ask for it.

If you have booked a call and want the event and your details removed, email us and we will delete them. If you would rather not use the assistant at all, email us instead — the address below reaches the same person.

Depending on where you live you may have specific rights over your personal information, such as asking for a copy of it or asking for it to be deleted. Contact us and we will honour any request we are required to, and generally any reasonable request regardless.

Children

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this page

If we add anything that changes how information is handled — a contact form that stores what you send, a CRM, another tracker — we will update this page to say so rather than leaving it describing a site that no longer exists. Analytics was added in September 2026 and this page was updated with it.
